GraphiQuest: Visual Journey in Youth Work Project

The GraphiQuest project addressed the need for enhanced visual communication in youth work. Recognizing that young people think visually, the project aimed to equip youth workers and trainers with graphic facilitation skills to make learning more engaging and accessible.
Objectives:
✅ Improved the way educational content was delivered through visual methods
✅ Trained youth workers in graphic facilitation techniques
✅ Broke the misconception that only artists can draw—showing that everyone can use visuals effectively
✅ Helped trainers create their own facilitation toolkit for youth work
✅ Strengthened Erasmus+ youth mobility projects with innovative methods
Activities & Participants:
👥 24 participants (aged 18-35) from Austria, North Macedonia, Italy, Spain, Poland, France, Türkiye, and the Netherlands + 2 trainers from North Macedonia
🎨 Interactive workshops, simulations, exercises, and round-table discussions
📌 Hands-on learning-by-doing sessions, working on notebooks and flipcharts
Expected Impact:
📌 Participants gained confidence in visual communication, improved creative thinking, and enhanced their professional skills
📌 Youth organizations boosted their training capacity and expanded their international networks
📌 The project produced a free online Graphic Facilitation Manual accessible to youth workers across Europe

This Graphic Facilitation Manual has been developed through collaboration between trainers and participants of the training course held during the GraphiQuest: Visual Journey in Youth Work
The project aimed to equip youth workers with visual communication skills. This manual serves as both a guideline and a reflection of shared experiences and creative works. It includes essential techniques, principles, and exercises designed to enhance learning, engagement, and creativity through graphic facilitation.Youth workers across Europe can access and apply these visual methods in their own training sessions and workshops.
